.Disparity Study Regarding Minorities and Women-Owned Businesses Before Council. Deferred Until later date The Disparity Study, scheduled to reviewed by the Chattanooga City Council the week of June 27, has been deferred until a later date to assure ample attendance of council members. The study involves several factors, of which include the analysis of contracting practices, and equal opportunity for participation in contracts where minorities and women owned businesses are concerned. Also the study is to provide "both qualitative and quantative data from a socio-economic perspective that will be used to drive the work of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and its advisory board."
