Save the Date- June 8, 2007 - Attend the Showcase! Get Empowered! Enjoy Food, Friendship, and Fun! at Sisters In Business "2nd Annual Business Women's Empowerment" event. This networking event features Keynote Speaker Dr. Carolyn Bibbs, Founder, CEO of Creative Life, Memphis, Tennessee, and Internationally renowned Fine Artist Synthia SAINT JAMES.
This year's theme "Empowering Our Youth, Enriching Our Lives!", invites youth (both girls and boys) to join in, and exhibit alongside adult businesses. Parents, youth groups, churches, community organizations, and businesses are asked to help market the products, services, gifts, talents, and abilities of youth, and make a "mentoring milestone" of the occasion.
Other event highlights include local recording artist Kimberly Thomas, singing from her album "Now I Can Live", Sew Shop Designer Kimara Dawn Fashion Show, J D Richards' Expozure Imaging Concepts & Photography, and Rhyme N Chat Poet Tongeia (Toni) Farmer! The event will take place on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Chattanooga Convention Center at 1100 Carter Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee (USA).

Keynote Speaker Dr. Carolyn Bibbs, is the Founder and CEO of Creative Life Incorporated in Memphis, TN. Since 1997 Dr. Bibbs, grant writer, has over eight million dollars to fund her youth development programs. Eight years ago, Dr. Bibbs decided to take the youth development one step further by opening and assuming the responsibility of Chief Administrator of Creative Life Preparatory School, a state-approved Christian school. For this and other services to the community, Carolyn has received recognition, both on the state and national level and serves on many boards for the quality and betterment of life for the children and families of her community. We are promoting the sponsorship of youth in the tradeshow to display their talents, gifts, abilities, skills, crafts, hobbies, and creations. We also wish to help them discover themselves and their gifts, and more of the world of entrepreneurship, economic development, and self-empowerment...SIB's "Youth In Business" AYES approach. (Note. The SIB Business Showcase will consist of regular businesses offering a variety of products and services for women (and men) in business, home, and the community, and youth business exhibits.
